Default Planking to tip-Sig 1/16 Cub

Hey Guys,
The wing tips on this kit are giving me a fit! I am having trouble lining up the front of the tip with the top front spar so that the top front planking will sit flush on the tip. If anyone has experience with this kit and can offer any advice, it would be greatly appreciated. This is my third kit. I am a build'em and fly'em guy, but still learning the tricks. It is the Sig 1/16th Piper Cub Craftsman Kit.
Thanks in advance
Mike

It turns out that the angle toward the tip from the spar was not as steep as it appeared. After some sanding, wetting the planking, and some more sanding, it looks about as well as an intermediate builder could do. I am posting my own reply because, out of frustration, I searched alot of information about this kit in this and other forums, and I know that the opinions vary. If you are a first or second time builder, I do not suggest it. If you would like to advance in the hobby of kit building and would like a challenge, then this is an adequate kit. I have new respect for the guys who had to sit down and craft their own solutions years ago. I look forward to the remaining challenges ahead.

Mike,
Is this the 1/6th or 1/16th kit?

Sorry! Its the RC-3. I guess the 1/16th planking was really messing with my head. Along with a 7lb 3oz baby girl born on the 4th. I have been a little out of sorts. I think that contributed to my frustration in the first place.
