I just picked up a partially completed Trainer Master. Its an low wing sport RC designed by Lou Andrews , AAMCO kit. Have wing and fuse mostly done. Anyone have any comments about this plane would be appreciated. Its a 1968 kit. Wood looks fine and glue is good. I plan on putting in an OS46FX. Would love to hear any suggestions/experience with this plane. thanks Joeg

It was a great flying plane...I don't know why they called it a Trainermaster..it was a ball to fly, but it crashed many moons ago...
I used a HP 61 Gold Cup for power..I think a 46 FX would be a fine match, it didn't really need a 61.
Don't see too many of them anymore, either kits or built planes.
This one was circa '87 or '88

Had a Trainermaster years ago. It was my second RC airplane, after a VK Navajo. Great little plane and should go well with a .46. I used a K&B .40 with mine.

I had one many years ago. My second plane. Boy it was not a second plane, however after I learned to fly better it was really a lot of fun to fly. I would love to hove one today. I flew mine with an Enya .45. Litterally wore the engine out in that plane.
Good Luck with the plane.
