Default Pica 1/6 scale Waco?

Anyone build one of these lately. I'd like to see some photos of this plane. I have one in the box I will probably start on this summer. What is a good engine for this plane. I have a Midwest Steerman that came out very tail heavy.

There are a few of the being built on RCSB. Most are putting 91 four strokes in them, me included.

Mine balanced with no weight added to the nose. I haven't flown it yet.

Outstanding job, Tom. I think I need to find one of these kits. Looks like the logical starting point for building a model of this one from Old Rinebeck Aerodrome ...

Have both 1/5th and 1/6th ......they were just hanging around collecting dust.....both are very tail heavy.....also had a couple of engines just collecting dust.........1/6th scale got a Maloney 100 for nose weight and the 1/5th scale got a Quadra 50

They are by no means ready for scale judges.......but what fun to just fly them

tomcrump,
Thats a nice finish on the plane. Is it a Sig finish?

Other tom, did you have to add tailweight on the 1/6 scale?

Steve

My WACO is covered with Super Coverite. I used LustreKote for the finish.

Thanks for the compliment.
