Default Four-Star 60 build question

Is it just me, or do my wing plans just not match up to the instructions? Ok, so the instructions have the 1/2x1/4 inch spar doubler toward the front, and the 1/4x1/4 inch behind it, yet on my plans, it has the 1/2x1/4 inch in behind the 1/4x1/4.. maybe i should take a photo because im having trouble explaining it.. i was just wondering if anyone else who has had a four-star 60 kit recently noticed anything wrong with the wing plans... I layed out all the wing pieces onto the spars.. and it didnt line up with the plans at all.. if im not making sense.. ill take a photo, but if anyone understands what im trying to say, let me know.

hey jdp8488 you first need to cut four 17 1/2 " long peices out two of the 1/2 x 1/4 x 36" peices. then glue them to one end of the four 1/2x1/4 x 36" pieces. those will make your main spars.. the 1/4 x 1/4 x36" are your rear spars.... look at all of your ribs they are numberd w1 thru w5 ...... lay them all out and look how they spar will lay out you will see it

i pinned mine down to the plans on a big peice of thick foam and i looked just like the pic in the instruction book

hoped this helped .... if not let me know ...... also i am building a four star .60 to.... check out the thread i started and you will see some pics there

It's been awhile since I built mine but I seem to remember the instructions were a little confusing at one point. I think if you look closely the manual may have the wings oriented differently. You are facing the front when you think it's a view from the rear, or vice versa. Something like that. Your plans are correct and if it looks like the manual is different try to adjust your thinking as if the manual is oriented from a different direction.
