Default Lainer Ultimate Pitts.

Well after 6 months of building on this plane I finally finished it. The kit is a very good kit but not what i would concider a beginners kit. The plane has a Moki 1.35 swinging a APC 17-8 at 8650 rpms. The plane weighs in at 11.5 pounds and is covered in Ultra coat.
I spent quite a while searching on the internet for pic of this plane but only found one. The covering schem is copied after a full size Japanese pitts.
The plane flies very well no bad habits and has very little coupling in knife edge.
I'm flying this with a Futaba 8uaf

Great job, OneWing. I have this kit under the bench and will get to it someday. Great color scheme, by the way!

How did the plane balance with the MOKI?? Had to add any weight?? Also, are there any tips or mods you'd recommend?

Default Balanced perfect

The plane balanced perfect, The Moki is just right, has great vertical.
I replaced the bottom stringers with spruce ones and fiberglass taped the top wing joints. you can see more at
