Hey All
I am building a SIG Kadet LT-40. I want to mount a SC52FS engine. It is a four stroke with a rear mounted carb. The question I have. How do you set up the throttle linkage? The throttle is in te middle of the engine with little space between the carb and the firewall. On the other side of the firewall the fuel tank also leans against the firewall. With the engine mounted, the fuel tank is "in the way" between the throttle and the servo tray. Would it be oke to mount the servo upside down close to the top op the fuselage and run the throttle link over the top of the tank?
Has anyone have any tips on this?

Dubro make a 4 stroke throttle linkage. I used one an LT-40.
Picture of 4 stroke in LT-40:

There is nothing special about the Dubro linkage. It is just a collection of small parts:

A wire control rod bent in a U shape will work also. (It will extend out in front of the throttle,
then bend back toward the throttle.)

Thanks for the help. I had some amazing re-engineering thoughts on this one, funny how you just don't come up with the simple solutions. Quite a nice idea from Dubro, and your U shaped idea.
