Default Help!

I really messed up a canopy tonight. I have had some bad bleeding from the perfect paint that I am using. Is there any way to remove the paint before it sets up without messing up or attacking the canopy? Thanks in advance.

Default Help!

Hey Carey: I don't know about perfect paint, but I have had a great deal of success using oven cleaner on acrylic enamels. I recently tried to tint a canopy with pactra spray. The results were less then desirable, to say the least. Oven cleaner to the rescue. Here's the kicker. You need to let the paint set up completely for a couple of days. Then spray the oven cleaner on it and let set for 24 hours. Scrub with an old tooth brush, and voila, all is clear. Another thing I have had some success with for minor Boo Boos, is glow fuel. Like when paint bleeds under masking tape. Remember to wash good before trying to paint or dye. Always glad to help if I can. Good luck. Garry

Thanks guy's. I will try them both and see what happens. I can always count on getting advice from people at RCU. What a great place this is.

Carey
