Top Flight T-34B to C Conversion

Hey everyone. I'm interested in Top Flight's T-34, but if I were to buy it I'd want to build the T-34C turboprop version. There are some distinct differences, but most of them are fairly simple except for the nose. The nose on the T-34C is longer and has exhaust ducts for the turboprop engine. Has anyone attempted to convert this kit to a T-34C? If so, how did you redesign the nose? Thanks.

Go to Top-Flite T-34 thread by PT21 flyer and you can see what someone else has done post #231 on page 10. Personally I don't think the nose was extended properly but you can judge for yourself.

Another choice in the same size (1/5 scale) is the Ray Torres T-34C kit with a fiberglass fuselage. It has scored well in competition:
