Is that thing reliable ? It comes with the kit but I feel the split design does not really guarantee the proper alignement of each side. Especially with all the vibration around that area.
I used a DB engine mount sized for my engine in my first plane and it seems more reliable...
Anyone had a bad experience with the GP adjustable engine mount ?

Although I had my doubts about adjustable mounts this is a fine design that works well. As RC Outlaw suggested, I always use DuBro socket head cap screws to attach engines to the mount and the mount to the firewall.

Good engine mount .. two points:-
1/ I glue mine together with CA after the alignment etc has been done.
2/ Make sure there's a large washer under the bolt that bolts it to the firewall, as tightening it without one can tend to push the bolt head through the oval hole.
Otherwise OK
