There is no treatment. They have to cut off our balls or something. Actually, I do believe I have found a cure. Try pricing retirement property !! Not only have I stopped buying kits from Ebay, I've started bringing my lunch to work!!!!

Some great replies, looks like I'm in good company. The shoe reply struck home; my wife's closet looks like Emelda Marcos lived here. She has shoes she's had longer than we've been married (15 years). Oddly enough, she doesn't seem to notice (or just hasn't commented) on the proliferation of long skinny boxes of balsa in the garage. If I could clear out all the junk she won't part with, I'd have sufficient room to build and house what I have so far accumulated, but it doesn't speak to the progression of the disease. I want a bona fide, dedicated-to-airplanes workshop; maybe when I hit the Powerball.
Roncoleman--our LHS should look so good. Now I know why ARF's are so prevalent....... you have all the kits

roncoleman,
Do you happen to have a Curare in that pile, and how much do you want for that T-38 in the middle of the picture (the one with the 2 B&W pictures on it)?

Well I see some of you like my little collection of kits. I can still hear that
D word a lot of you used when you opened the photo. What you are seeing
is 18 years of "I can use that kit" buying. I'm sure some of you know what
I'm talking about. I'm also sure there's someone out there that has an even
bigger collection kits. Most of what you see are kits that I just like or
wanted to have at one time or the other. A couple I got for my kids just in
case they wanted to learn to build and fly airplanes. A few I picked up to
give to a couple of old flying buddies as Christmas gifts. A few I got from
tower and the likes but most were bought online from rco, rcu, imaa, &
ebay. There would be more if it wasn't for the price limit I set. Also there
are still a few other kits I would like to get.
None of the kits are for sell at this time but I am thinking about selling the
bulk of them this year or next. So for some of you ARF jocks this will be
your chance to come from the dark side.
Maybe I’ll show you guys my little engine collection one day.

Tailskid, My photo software will not let me merge the photos together.
I have a total of 24 shots a lot of them are overlapping. Let me know
how if you want them.

Jbdismukes, HH goods? I live in a four bedroom house the models and stuff are
located the an extra room. So I might be a little overweight when it comes time
to move. I think I better sell everything in the house (and maybe the wife) and
keep the models and two kids.

Jpurcha
For me Bridi kits have always been the best buy in kits. No matter what or how
well you can build or fly every kit builder should have four or five Bridi kits on
hot standby (JMHO). As for the Kaos 1-Kaos, 2-Super Kaos 60, 3-Super Kaso 40,
and I think 5 Killer Kaos. I know someone who will be getting a Killer Kaos for
Christmas this year.

What a collection. Ron doesn't even have the ARF kits assembled. What pattern plane is the MK kit? How many Bridi Dirty Birdy's? and DB-40.
#44

The FK Magic 40, what is the address of the manufacturer. 8178 thought these kits were fabricated in Canada.

Jpurcha, The MK kit is one of two Cosmos. The other one is under construction.
There's 2, maybe 3 DB-60 and 3 DB-40. I tracked down the FK company to be
somewhere in China. I sent them a email about the old kit line but they never
replied back.
