I'm just about ready to install my radio, and I had a few questions.
I built the model with flaps, I'm going to use a jr 537 for those.
2 jr 537's for aileron servo's as well.
jr 507 for throttle
What do I use for rudder? I've heard of a few poeple suggesting a high torque servo for the rudder.
What do I do for the elevator? do I really need 2 servo's (one for each half?). I joined the halfs togther with the rod, thick CA, and glass tape (to renforce the wire install)
Can I use a 537 on that as well?
Rgds,
Theo Aftonomos
ps: also let me know if my intended servo tasks (aileron, throttle, flaps) will work out well please.

If your talking about the Goldberg Chipmunk, I use (2) 3101's (Futabas version of the mini servo) on the elevator, and S148's on the rudder and each aileron. I do not have flaps. You may want to put more torque on the rudder, but I seem to have plenty with the S148.

Yea. The cowl and pants are fibreglass from Stans fibretech. Stan does some outstanding work! Did away with the plastic bellypan; built it up with balsa as part of the wing.
Saito .91 for power makes an excellent combination.
