still can't find my manual, but i remember that the plane builds tail heavy. with battery under tank against firewall and servos and reciever moved as far foward as possible mine still required around 4 1/4 oz of lead in the nose to balance. i'll continue to look for my manual until i find it or someone answers.

Balance it on the main spar of the wing and it will fly like a champ!

I just pulled out the plans, and the center of the range is the center of the spar. That is 3 1/2" from the leading edge, so we'll all agree, to agree[8D]
Parrthd, you're dead on, on the tail heavy part, that's just about what I had to add, and my engine is over 19 oz. (Saito .65)

Hi Shane,
That RCV weighs 25.2 oz. w/o muffler, how much does the muffler weigh? Without the muffler that's about 6 oz. heavier than my old Saito, always a balancing act

It's like 29 oz. total, I origanily bought it for a 90 size spitfire that required alot of weight in the front but it wasn't enough power. It's 4oz. heavier than my buddies Saito 1.25w/ muffler. Yes , balancing is always fun..
