RE: CG Eagle II Kit Build
EL TEMUCANO sorry for the loss I know all to well the tale of the half an Eagle wing into the gret death spin into the ground,, But the great ting about the Carl Goldberg model is its all wood,, I think,,, I've never owned the ARF of it but i did own the original,, it was favorite plane for about 4 or 5 years, actually its still one of my favorite planes,, I always recommend it to any one starting out and still love flying them my self, Anyway i've rebuilt that Eagle so many times and it always flew just as great,,, so PUT that baby back together, it may seem like a lot of work,, but you can do it and it won't take as long as you think,,, I can't even tell you how many times I smashed that plane up just pushing the envelope with it, Its made me a better flyer for sure,, Thanks Carl G,,,, you Da man

EL TEMUCANO
So with flaps the Eagle becomes STOL like these? I can visualize some ribbons across the field for a STOL contest area.

A few more pics, including one after the break-in run ready for the snow tomorrow! I still have some detail work to finish, but it's ready to fly otherwise! I'll get some better pics during the day.

RE: CG Eagle II Kit Build
Well, finally flew the Eagle today. It flies wayyy better than the Nexstar. With full flaps, you can point the nose up, and it'll just balloon and keep climbing! I'll try and get a couple pics tomorrow.
