I have been flying a 36" span Tequila Sunrise arf from Global for about a year and one of the guys from my local club said he used to have one but it was alot bigger. I really like this plane and would imagine a larger version of it would mean "larger" fun.
Does anyone know of a larger version of this plane? Is it kit or arf?
Any information would be greatly appriciated.

My Feedback: (3)
I bought my .40 size Global Tequila Sunrise ARF from HobbyShack (now Hobby People) back in about 2000 or so. Put it together in about 5 evenings. It was very touchy, had to put low rates down to about ± 4mm to keep it from snapping. However, it would do a wide-open snaproll that just about stopped it in midair. Learned a lot flying that plane, nice four-point rolls and other things.
I figure that Global only made one production run for either size Tequila Sunrise ARF, and they're still sitting on some of the first run of the .25 size. The .40 size disappeared from their listings in a couple years. Nice looks, but a lot of people didn't find them user-friendly.
I finally retired mine last year, it's hanging in the garage. Some ambitious club member will get it for a donation to the club. I've had my fun with it!

I started flying mine with a .25 fx. Then I got the bright idea to bolt a .32 sx on it, two flights later and the .25 went back on. The .32 was too fast. It spun an apc 8-10 pylon prop like it was'nt there. Best guess on speed had to be around 115 to 120mph. It would'nt sustain full throttle flight for very long with out getting alittle flutter.
I really wish I could come up with the larger size bird.

If you still have the plans, then whats wrong with just getting them enlarged to a size that suits you..A few years back two of our members enlarged theirs and flew with 60 size engines. Both flew very well.

I didnt mean to mislead anyone, mine is an ARF. There were no plans, just assembly instructions. Sorry, I guess I should have said that at the beginning.
