Default aerokote peeling off

Hi all
I just finished a Senior Kadet ARF for my wife. I added some lettering to the nose area for her. The problem is that the exhaust is causing the lettering to peel off. What can be done to prevent this? I have considered covering the lettering with clear Monokote. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanx. WSL

Some clear covering might work; I've also used clear paint (nail polish actually) to hold down stripes, trim and so on. I'm not sure how it would do in the exhaust stream though.

Loosen and rotate the back end of your muffler to keep more of the hot exhaust off the plane. It looks like it is currently cloe to the fuse. side.

The clear coat would help but moving the heat and engine snot would be better like Looser said. You can also put on an exhaust deflector so the gas and snot blow out under and away from the fuse and wing.
Nice looking little plane.
