I recently finished an old champion aeromodel co. p 47 d. This kit is from the 70,s. The 8x8 1 page instruction manual said that a fiberglass cowl would be available from a
company that went out of buisness 20 years ago. I have checked with fiberglass specialties and they do not have the size i need. the plane at the firewall is 6 inches tall x 4.75" at the widest point. it has a 54 inch wing. I have checked all the arfs cowls and they will not fit. does anyone know of someone that can make a fiberglass cowl to fit this plane.

Traplet sell a cowl for their 60" span plan version, maybe it's close enough?

maybe one of the older TF red or yellow box p47s may fit or maybe the jemco also
