The CG range for the Funster is 3 1/4" to 3 3/4" back from the leading edge , beside the fuselage. Book specs. Mine is the rearward.

If anyone has one of these not built yet I would like to buy it. I was given a very old built one (72 inch) with a very old OS 91 in it. I use it very succesfully to carry up gliders. I removed the virtical stab and made two smaller ones which i installed at each end of the horrizontal stab. I converted it to taildragger. I made a cradle which i bolted to the fuse slightly infront of the canopy. I have had over 50 succesful piggyback launches without a problem yet. KOW. Till today It has been gliders up to 2 meters only. Today I hauled up a 3.5 lb 118 inch Bird Of Time against a 10-12 knot wind. It was a fight and full power all the way. I had people with gliders standing in line for a lift. What fun!.............................antiquefer
