Hello All,
I just ordered a Sig Hog Pipe kit...Should be in my shop in about 2 weeks....
Does anyone out there in Cyberland have any advice, pics, beefs, tips, etc. about this kit?
I am all ears....[sm=72_72.gif]

There are a couple build threads regarding the Hog Bipe. Do a search and should be able to find them.
I've got the kit already. It's on my list of planes to build this winter.
From what I've gathered the three biggest mods are; dual aileron servos, Move the landing 1/2" forward, and using a sullivan tail wheel instead of the one included in the kit.
Oh... And RCKen will tell you that you absolutely MUST use a 4stroke motor in it....

One great place to see Hog Bipes is the Fubar Hill website. They maintain a section dedicated to Hog Bipes. you have find it here: [link]http://www.fubarhill.com/sighog.html[/link] . Definitely a great place to get some ideas.
You have to put a 4-stroke on a Sig Pig. If you don't, the Biplane Police will come get you!!!
Honestly though, you can run a 2-stroke on one but it just doesn't "sound" right!!!! A 4-stroke has that low throaty grumble that sounds so good on a biplane!!

Yes, the Hog Pipe.
Sig bought out the Meerschaum RC Airplane company. Sig was originally going to keep Meerschaum's logo, a drawing of Sherlock Holmes, but eventually decided against it.

I'm embarrassed
...I seemed to have mispelled bipe with pipe....Easy mistake...being a plumber and all
Of course I was sold as soon as I heard the work HOG!! What could possibly go wrong flying an airplane with a handle like that![sm=wink_smile.gif]
I already have an OS .91 FS in mind for this HOG
Nothing runs like an FS!!

The 91 Surpass or the Saito 100 will be great in the plane, if you already have one of them go with it. If you are buying a new one go with what you like.
