Default IS THERE A KIT LIKE THIS PLANE?

Saw this plane, http://www.aerosphereonline.com/mm5/...ory_Code=Large , in another forum. Is there a kit or arf similar to this plane in a .60 to .90 size available? This just looked like it would be a nice project.

Apparently there is. Check this ad: [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/market/item.cfm?itemId=361306]Jetfire 40 Kit[/link].

Yes, same plane. But that is a 40 size. I was looking for something bigger.

I'd just scale it up and build from scratch. Constant chord wing is easy to build and the nice fuselage shape can be obtained with carved balsa blocks on a basic box structure. The covering scheme on the finished model hides the very simple construction.

Airtronics only made a .20 size and a .40 size Jetfire if I'm not mistaken. Those kits are probably the best made kits ever produced as far as parts fit and quality and they were machine cut, no lasers then.

It looks very similar to the plane called the variant ,it was short kitted at one time but I think the mojority of them was scratch built from plans . All the ones I seen was great flying planes ,I can't recall who was short kitting them but with a few calls I could find out if a person is really serious about it.

Was the Variant a 60 size plane? If so, I would be interested in seeing it and the source of the plans. Thanks
