na not at all i bout them from tower hobbies for like 15 buckeds a peace and the polycrilic i got at the hardware stor for like 15 sooo 30 is good i usualy spend like 60 or so to cover my planes.

soo anyprogress??????/ man ive been outside running my engin in for a while i had the fuse primed and sealed just so i can run it around the yeard the engin will totaly pull the plane then some with the engin a little over a quarter is like my eagle with the 40 at full throttle. the engin idles so beautifuly for a new engin i just flicked the prob and she fired. most of the struts, nose cone and varius parts are painted in there final coulors witch varie from red and white to yellow and crome. i used body filler to do some tuch ups witch will get filled in with primer and clear coat. sadly my tail gear was not ment to be painted the paint came of while taxiing and the wheel eventualy vibrated off soo i need new bolts. um the plane now is like 5 pounds just the fusalage with gear and electronics. the gear is sooo awsome to ride with it can rool over obsticals close to two inches high. i dont know what else tosay ill keep ya posted sorry ive been away a while. oh and atvfmx i heard you flew your plane howd that go

havent gotten any progress cause i just needed to get some atv parts so i can do a gncc race...it'll be a while till i get the money to finish my eagle i think

i dont think ill be doing the first flight i just dont think i have the skills its been so long since i flew anything that heavy ive been flying a modified nexstar thats like half the weight

right now its looking to be in a range of 10-12 pounds so it probably wont fly itself of the ground, higher speed aproches are my fav anyway so its no problem and the engin should do me well.during taxi tests ive noticed that the plane hads a tendency to lose tail reponce between sertin speeds lower speeds that is. the tail between taxi speed and the tail liftingis laging on the aiding of turns but its fast threw that part. this is a big model costy two i think im neering 1000 - 1500 now
