or maybe just trying to help out.....because I think we all know how frustrating it can be when u can't find an answer to something...and sometimes when u read things worded differently, it all makes sense! And if a ffew people give the same reply, then chances are that its a good reliable answer and you're not gonna get electroctued or something doing it....

Default I agree.....

It is a bit annoying when someone posts a reply to a long since "dead" thread. I always look at the date on the post as to when it was started. Yes I do use the search tool to look for a specific topic but I don't reply if it is old.

The absolute worst threads are the ones where everyone just starts complaining about of things that aren't even related to the original topic, or even the other things being complained about.

For example, just the other day I was reading this complainer thread by some guy who wants to limit threads to 100 posts! Well before you know it, people were complaining about...

Why start more threads on one subject, just keep one going, and hope it rolls on that subject. I started a thread that went from the XB-70 and turned into one about the SR-71, I had to put a stop the that and turned it back into the XB thread.

And maybe posting this in the club house would help it reach 100 easier--lol--just had to poke fun--no hard feelings.

Gyro:

I thought the side track to the SR was related, but it did get over the top so I just shut up.

I'll get your drawings to you soon, hope you can understand my scribbles.

Bill.

PS: Gene, do you want a hard limit of 100 posts, or do you mean approximate? wr.

30% there already, I'm sure we'll make it if we really try.....

BTW.. What kit are you building?

While we're sort of on the subject of pet peeves, this thread might be one of 'em; here we are wasting disk space on mindless banter imparting no useful information, who's going to be interested in this in 3 months time?

Then there's the posts that include a page long quote and just add a one of two word comment......

Then there's the people who will post the same picture of their aircraft again, and again and again....

Hijacking a thread? I think I did that recently, take a look....

Now, back to the kit building.... umm where does that bit go??

either that or they use the attach, but the damn thumbnail is a better quality pic than the attachment!

Default Kit Building

Since this Forum is about Kit building. Here is my TF Corsair. Coming along slowly. I went ahead and drilled some small lightening holes in the rear formers. Holes probably not big enough to really matter but it's some weight off the a@#. Pete
