I have bought CA in 16 oz. bottles from a distributor who is now out of business. Does anyone know of where I can find some?

Just like building wood kits. I use about 16oz a year for about 1/2 the price.

I've seen 8 ounce bottles at one LHS. Roy's Hobby Shop in Hurst TX. I think it was Bob Smith brand but I'm not 100% sure about that.

Radical RC sells Mercury brand in 8 ounce bottles

Found it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Handibond in Hawii has it for $22.34 per 16 oz bottle if you buy 3 bottles. $10 shipping. That works out to $1.61 per oz. Dale

I don't want to sound like one of the safety nannies that frequent these threads but 16 oz a year is approaching "occupational exposure" levels. CA toxicity studies are sorely lacking in data. Trying to find info I was surprised to see "no data available", "no long term exposure studies conducted", etc. We have MSDS's for Windex! It may be a perception (helped by industry) that consumers only use a drop to glue the handle of a coffee mug every 6 months.

However, in the course of constructing large RC planes a considerable volume of CA can be applied at one time putting a large cloud of fumes into the immediate vicinity. Bottom line, if fumes cause your eyes to water or you smell a strong chemical odor there is not enough ventilation. A fan placed near an open window or doorway will help dissapate and draw the fumes away reducing your inhalation. Until we have more data safeguard your body. You can't buy a new one.

Here's a link to something the chemists read:[link]http://www.inchem.org/documents/cicads/cicads/cicad36.htm#11.1[/link]
