My Feedback: (3)
I have just picked up another Super Aeromaster kit and it is missing the instruction book. I had built one of these previously and cannot find my original copy. Anybody have one they can send me or photocopy one and send?
Thank you,
Dan

I knew it was thet because I built one last year. Havn't had a chance to fly it yet, well havn't had the nerve to fly it yet. I put a Dubro Composit landing gear on it and a Fiberglass Speciatilies Waco type cowl for it. I had to make a big bass wood wedge to put under the LG to get the wheels back where they belong and then fill from the front of the wedge to the firewall.

Gene, don't you wonder how, with all of the flying room, that post sprouted up and grabbed your plane just as you were flying by?
Looks as if one or two wings and you are back in business though.
I guess I'm going to have to come out there and show you the proper way to crash a plane. Not much left when I get through with them.

PS, that's why I haven't flown my Super Aeromaster yet.

No Don, I don't wonder at all, I was there!!!
There were only two of us out there and we parked different that day because of the???? I just greased the most perfect landing with that little bouncer, I was very pleased with myself, so pleased I was watching the plane roll right on past me. When I noticed the pin board I had full up and full left in it and watched it bounce right into the pole.
The wing screws on the botton wing broke loose, no damage. I broke out three, maybe four ribs on the top wing. It's next in line for repairs but my bench is A bit full right now. The SK .91 really brings that little Bipe to life!!!
The .68 it was just an OK plane. Very easy plane to fly. I almost hit that pole again last week with my Kaos too?? No reason, I just keep forgetting it's there. OLD AGE THING!!!!!

Gene, I've got to meet you one of these days. Like you, I keep my repair bench open 24-7. If I were a car repair shop, I'd have a dozen employees. I seem to have a knack for pulling up when I'm inverted, forgetting that ailerons will not turn a plane on the ground, air speed? who needs air speed. On yes, the best, when in trouble, left stick full up. Do circles with the right one and hope for the best. After only 2.5 years at the club, I hold the record for the most destructive crashes. My beloved O.S 52 four stroke is an example.

I don't consider that little post thing A crash. If I can fix it then it was just A hard landing. I have never seen an engine come apart like that!! Ever!! I have seen planes hit the ground dead on the nose at full throttle in the middle of the runway and not do that. Up until this year I haven't crashed A plane in 8 years then I planted A students trainer on maiden, A Nexstar. Then soon after that I really dumped one of my Extras, it was A complete radio signal loss and I now have several RXs put aside to be sent into Radio South for A check up. If someone decides to buy my house in Calif. I will drive out there for A few days. If not then you will have to come here. Planes are fun in the day but I have some fun things to do in the evenings too.[8D]

I think that the rocker cover was first contact with the ground. Both valves stems are bent back about 20 degrees.
Off the end of the runway where I crashed, the ground drops off and I lost sight of the plane just before it hit the ground and then this geyser of yellow monokote came up from over the edge. I was trying out some yellow tinted googles over my glassed. It was a cloudy day and the mix didn't work out. I lost orentation and punched the throttle and pulled up and that was two things I shouldn't have done. A big cork screw into the ground.
