I don't know about the color but some of these have steel inner rod all the way through. Unless you have a tight turn I would use these. I don't care for the ones with plastic inner rod with metel ends. Make sure you support these every 6" or so no matter which ones you use.

Im thinking of installing these in my 1/4 scale cub, for the tail section, its about a 36 in run ,Any suggestions on wich rod to use? Thanks Carl

Well you did ask for suggestions
. FWIW I don't like pushrods other than for the short throw for ailerons. I use a pull/pull set up for each elevator half as well as the rudder. They are lighter, much easier to route and they don't flex.
