From: Chicago, IL,
I just thought of an idea....
How about if one picks up a Goldberg Eaglet kit, and gets a .25 sized motor. Build the kit with the radio and all the regular accessories.
Then: attach a bell crank in the fuselage with a control rod that can be enterchanged between the servo that controls the elevator, and the bell crank and a guide for the control wires on the wings.....
Now: You have a dual-purpose RC model that can be flown both as a C/L, and an RC plane! Just switch from the servo to the bell crank and attach your lines, and you have a C/L plane with a throttle, and a rudder that can be instantly adjusted to suit any C/L flying condition, with the movement of a trim tab!
Has anybody else thought of this idea?
