Default MidWest Pitts Canopy

I got a Midwest Pitts Super Stinker with a Brison 2.4 that I built and have[] been flying since '03. Two weekends ago, the canopy split while in flight. Any ideas where to get a replacement? I contacted MidWest and they do not have parts.

Craig,

Thanks for the thought! When I contacted Midwest, they suggested Fiberglass Specialties. I contacted them (copied below) and they do not have the canopy.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately we do not have the plug to make this canopy and I don’t know of anyone that does. Sorry.
Thanks again for checking with us.
Craig

When I build an old kit or a plane from plans sometimes I have to go look at the ARFs of the same plane and find one of about the same size and buy one of theres. Last one was a little 60 size Extra 260 and I found a canopy from Segul that fit with just a bit of cutting. It was so much cheaper then the one I found at FS that I bought three of them to keep in my shop. Even looked good on the 4* 60. Looks like you may have to do the same thing.
