I've got some leftover 2-56 GoldNRod plenty long enough for a throttle control. I've managed to be successful with the usual cable soldering, but its always seemed a pain. This GoldNRod set up seems so easy, any reason not to use it? It would have a shallow ess curve in the middle.
Thanks.

Hey FlainBrian,
I use Gold N Rods in all my planes for the throttle linkage (of for the control linkage of elevator & rudder in smaller lightweight planes) and they work great.
Only problem when you crash (nose in) the linkage will probably snap and will have to be replaced. A metal wire will however be bend as well, but this can be bend back... the Gold Nrods can't. But they do there job good, a you will save some weight compared to there metal wire counterparts...
and yes... there easy to setup!
don't mind the S-bend, they're made for it !
