I had a pretty hard landing this last weekend. It was my first time at the field with no help. When I landed my plane the second time the fin/rudder broke off. There is a little glue and wood on the elevator. Should I sand everything smooth and then glue it back on or should I replace the bottom spar?

You could probably just stick it back on with medium CA.

that's the first thing I would try.

I agree with Minn, almost. I'd use epoxy.
