Default Lysander Canopy

Has anyone had the pleasure of building a canopy for the Dennis Bryant Westland Lysander. I am trying to decide wheather to Vacuumform are build with flat panels. either way is labor intensive. Any input would be greatly appricated...Thanks

Default RE: Lysander Canopy

I have not done that particular aircraft. I have made my first scratch built canopys and found it was not all that tough for my project. The pictures and text may give you some ideas for yours. do a search here on RCU for "1/5 scale BT-13 build". The canopy and windscreen should start around page 3 or 4. I found I could form the windscreen separate from the canopys and could do it in the oven without vacuum forming.
