Default What LG for TF Spitfire?

I am going to build a TF Spitfire and I need recommendations for the LG. The manual recommends Robarts 605, which are not that expensive. Another option I see from TH are the Century Jet retracts also recommended for this model.

So, could you please explain your experience with these or any other retract system?

Thanks,
Pedro

I am just building one now, and purchased the Robart retracts for it.<div>

</div><div>It is important that you get the clearance right as detailed on the plans, as there is not much room in there.</div><div>

Search is your friend. There are many Spitfire build threads here and many discussions about the various retract manufacturers as well.

I have only used Robart and would use them again. That is not exactly a recommendation though. If I had the time and money, I would try a few other options before I would be willing to make a recommendation. Other than recommending reading the hundreds, perhaps thousands of comments already here about this topic.
