I went and bought wedding rings and a seven day jamaican honeymoon, so mine may have to wait a few months to get finished! Done went and spent all my mad money.

LOL!! You can pretty much hang up the hobby for about a year. :)

question....ok, both wings are done, and i've begun fitting the two wings together. it appears that the dihedral brace is preventing the wings from meeting flush. they stay apart about 1/16". can i sand either end a touch to get it to fit better?

Make sure that the inside edge of one of the wings does not need a little sanding. I thought the same thing and sanded a little on the brace, but it did not help. A closer examination of the inside rib showed a little bow. Two minutes worth of sanding and it went right together.

Welcome.....

imo it would be depending on what your first plane was.....if all you've ever flown were foamies then probably not, but if u have a nitro trainer or something like that then i think it would be good.....

Interupt? Phooey!! :) You're welcome here. I can't tell you guys how proud I am that others have jumped right in here and built their planes in the same thread that I started almost 3 and 1/2 yrs ago. It may not have been intended that way, but it is an enormous compliment to me.

It's absolutely a good 2nd plane. I know people who have built and flown this plane for their 1st TRAINER. You just have to set the control throws down to make it fly very docile. But don't let that fool ya. You can balance this plane a little tail heavy and set the controls throws up for maximum and then you've got yourself a REALLY fun plane. They will flat spin so smooth and so slow, it's just silly.

You can do ANYTHING with one of these planes. The only limitation is your thumbs.

The Four Star series of planes is one of the more popular of model planes.
They are known for their gentle flying characteristics yet the ability for aerobatic if need be.
They are very commonly used as second planes

I the last of the last stages of the 120. Canopy, I think thats it. This has been one of the most fun builds I have ever built.. I think by makeing the Four Star 60 all lazer cut they have taken a lot of the fun out of it.

I fact I dread finishing. What am i going to do with all My time?
