Hello,
I took out my cal 30 for the first flight today and had several problems:
1. Engine started a few clicks under half throttle
2. Cyclic control inputs were delayed in hovering
For example if i pushed the cyclic stick forward the heli would move forward a few seconds later
which made hovering impossible.
thanks

Well there is no binding what so ever, i had recently purchased 550 carbon blades and used them do you think they were the problem?
Could an adjustment to the air bleed valve be an answer to the high throttle starts?
Thanks

When I go to start the engine it will only start at half throttle on the TX, idle up hasnt been on. I will check with the kyosho blades next time i have spare flight time.
Thanks

Check that your washoutguide is locked in right position. If it comes loose the heli will feel very instable. It's very hard to fly it.
For the engine. Check that the carburator is fixated to tha crankcase. Fueltubes are ok. No leakage. That the engine is not set to rich/lean.
Don't ask how I might know that.[8D]
