Default Pulled a loop: Tail spin!

This weekend I tried 2 loops with my Corona, and both ended with a wicked CW tail spin! The heli went over fine, lost around 30' of altitude, but just when I thought all was well the tail started spinning out of control! All else was working, but cyclic is pretty tough to handle at 2 revs per second []

The first time I decended and cut the motor at about 20' with no damage but a glue joint on the skid holder. Without even shutting off the receiver, I stood it back up and was able to continue flying normally ??

After 10 good flights, I tried another. Same thing happened, except it started spinning at an angle so I had to cut out higher up because it was picking up horizontal speed (broke the LG off this time).

My set up is Hacker brushless w/BEC, HS81 servs, and a GY240 gyro. Batts are GP3300, and both attempts were only a minute into the flight. When pulling out of the loop with full throttle, the motor audibly bogged down... My "theory" is that somehow the Hacker was pulling so much current from the pack (as it was falling with full throt) that the voltage dropped enough to reset the Gyro?
