Losi SmartDiff
SmartDiff - The Ultimate Drop-In Hop Up
Losi engineers have designed a patent pending differential that knows exactly how to respond to track conditions and throttle input, offering the ultimate combination of precise steering and immediate acceleration when entering and exiting corners and turns.
When entering a corner off the throttle, the SmartDiff automatically opens, allowing the gears to rotate freely for improved off-power steering precision.
When power is applied, the SmartDiff's adjustable ramp plates lock on to the gear shafts for increased acceleration out of corners.
Losi engineers have designed a patent pending differential that knows exactly how to respond to track conditions and throttle input. Losi's innovative custom SmartDiff design adjusts the amount of lock based on throttle position for optimum power transfer into and out of corners. The results are improved maneuverability, increased off-power steering and outstanding acceleration.
The SmartDiff makes an easy, drop-in hop-up for every 8IGHT Buggy vehicle. The SmartDiff replaces the stock front diff on the 8IGHT without any additional modification required. Losi’s SmartDiff is fully assembled and ready for immediate installation.
Features:
Torque-Sensing Design - SmartDiff adjusts automatically based on applied power
Lightweight Spur Gears and Outdrives for greater acceleration
Fully assembled for a direct fit into stock diff locations.
