Well it's getting close to that time again here in central Florida. The dates have been set for February 19th and 20th and I asked for perfect weather that weekend. We will be flying all AMA classes 401 thru 404 and 406 flying "P" on Saturday and "F" on Sunday. We will do our best to get 4 rounds Saturday and 2 rounds on Sunday for all classes. The fee will be 30.00 which will include a BBQ lunch and drink. An address to use for the GPS is 2901 or 2900 Old Polk City Rd Lakeland, FL 33809.
Direction: I-4 exit 38 go north 1/4 mile to first road on left. Turn left on Tomkow Rd. to dead end and gate is strait across intersection. I will post a temporary gate code but closer to the contest date.
If anyone has any questions please feel free to call or e-mail me any time.
Thanks

Larry,
The Eglin gang plans on attending. We may even convince Curt Oberg to join us and fly AMA Turn-Around as well. See you in February!

Larry/Chris,
Looks like you'll have to put up with the Eglin Pattern Mafia again this year. Rob stated earlier the maybe Curt Oberg would join us and we are also working with Greg Grigsby so he may show as well; could be as many as seven flyers from EAM. We are all looking forward to another good year with our friends in D3.

Hey
I'm looking foward in seeing all you guys here in Feb. I might even show up and fly myself so tell Houston to look out I'm tired of getting whipped by a "kidneygardener"
See everyone soon

Hey Neil,
Congratulations on the Passport they are a good flying plane. I'm sure the setup and CG is where Victor had it and if it is it should fly very well. I'm still working on Chris's new VF3 and will be finished with it soon. That way I can get my plane back and maybe give you and Houston a little competition. I know this, with the time you spend on the sticks and with good equipment and you can keep the pace going, you will go far very fast. The amount you have been practicing has shown in your flying and you proved that at Tangerine and with a Javelin. So keep up the good work.

Chris/Larry,
Quick update on the Monster Magic ( couldn't think of anywhere better to post than on your thread) donated to Houston's cause. The wings have been prepped and ready for covering, which we've started. Yes, Houston is doing much of the grunt work and learning some new methods with modeling as we proceed. Should have it ready for your contest. Oh yeah, he is keeping his promise to Chris on keeping the MM colors.

Hey Mike,
Glad to see it coming around. I'm not sure what you did to the stab adjusters, but Chad Northeast did a build where a false rib is use to mount the adjuster. The adjuster is on the outside of the false rib and it fits flush or just inside the root rib. It's made so you can remove the adjuster without hurting the wood work on the stab. It's a neat setup and I'm going to do it on all my builds here on out. Here's the link to that build: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_93..._3/key_/tm.htm look on page 2 & 3
If you need to talk to me on anything with that plane please feel free to call. My number is on the front of this thread. Keep posting pics of the progress.

Hey Emory,
I for some reason have to get clearance with the city to do the camping thing at my field this year. Everything should work out but if it doesn't you guys will know in plenty of time. Now from the sound of that question should it be safe to say you are planning on being here in February.
