Thanks Tom. Great site.
I have read tons of info about subs now, but I cant find much about the robbe seawolf. I find this strange, as it has been around for years now....

The paint job looks great, I think you should be able to use a simple car battery pack (7.2v) with a simple forward reverse esc from a regular hobby shop or towerhobbies, that way it wont cost too much. Again I hope everything works out great for you, Let us know how it goes. ( Iam looking at getting the Dumas Akula myself, cant find that Robbe seawolf any where near me. )

Thanks.
I have already ordered the stuff for it :-)
I also have an ESC from my car, that I think will work fine.
Im pleased with the result myself
only a few days work...

Good job!
It looks like Robbe really did some work on the appearence, is the sub modeled after the actual US Navy sub? The conning tower looks a bit different and the tail too. Maybe you could make a resin sail/tailplanes, and show us how it turned out ?

SJN wow you have some real speed in your build without lacking in quality
the sub looks great
hopes she runs as well!!
perhaps later on you might be interrested in making her a static diving sub?
I don't think the robbe seawolf is static right?
you have to apply speed in order to dive right?
well post some more pictures and good luck

Thanks guys

You think it looks glossy? Its all just ordinary spray paint. Gloss red, and satin black.......thats what I just had lying around [8D]
The sub isn`t scale. Just a fiction ship.
I have turned the conning tower the other way around compared to the instructions. I think it looks better that way.
The sub is only a dynamic diver.
Im still waitng fow the last internal parts, so I can get her assembled. Ill take some pictures of that, when they come.
SJ.

Nice picture!
that airplane looks pretty neat aswell
you could use it to sink the sub later on! with a wingspan like that it must be able to be equiped with some kind of weapon

Your sub looks great! I too, would be very interested in knowing how it handles. It looks like construction went well, judging by the results.
Keep us informed!!

Thanks guys :-)
Ill take some video of it when the time comes.......might take while [8D]
This sub is fairly easy to build. Construction goes quite fast when using CA glue and 5 min epoxy.
I only used 2 days to make it as it is in the pictures above. But as you see, its not quite finished yet

Yeah, I agree, the conning tower looks beter turned around, does it exhibit torque? if so how much? How's the diving capability? Can the front planes move? With a sub this size I think you'll be able to fit a ballast tank into the hull and make it a static diver.
