Default Sheograth's SC10 build

I'll probably start it later tonight, here are a few teaser pics.

I'm going to use a spare VXL system I have lying around somewhere. Still haven't decided on a paint job, though I'll probably go with something more realistic looking. I wasn't planning on getting one, but the owner of my LHS did and after driving it I was hooked. Many levels better than the Slash in my opinion. It really grabs the ground and stays planted, handles really nicely.

Take lots of pictures. I would like to see how everything goes together too.

Off-topic: I like how you use your couch for picture taking. That's probably because it's all new or at least clean. None of my stuff is allowed on the couch. It would be no different than putting a shovel-full of mud onto it.

Technically my stuff isn't allowed to touch the couch either. But what the girlfriend doesn't see won't hurt her.

Haha I was considering it actually. I'll get a fair amount done tonight unless something comes up. I think I'll time it just for fun, but I'll stop the clock to take pictures every once in a while.

First sub assembly complete, steering bellcrank and part of the front bulkhead. First impressions are that the plastic quality is higher than most RTR electrics.

Lol I am the LHS' best friend, though I do most of my shopping online since he runs a small store and doesn't carry much.

I'm an art dealer for those who are wondering.

Anyway, on topic, I have to admit I've been doing other stuff... not building this thing. I'll get it done in the morning though

Gah I know lol. I've taken on lots of projects lately. The Baja build is coming along as well. I also have tons of stuff going on with work :|

I haven't driven an RC in at least 2 weeks.

2 weeks... try 9 months. When are you going to put more pictures up of your baja?

Next couple of days hopefully. Tomorrow (today, since it's 2AM) I'll swap out the chassis, engine, and rear A arms.

I like the foam dots to keep the pivot balls clean, I was going to be trying this on my next M18MT build...did you cut them by hand or have you found a source for them?
