I have noticed on a few occasions where the Karma Rating box does not appear on posts in FS forums.

I haven't really paid too much attention to it until today.

What I have discovered is that if I click on a thread in the forum, the Karma box displays OK, but if I click on the URL from an email notification the Karma box is missing!

What gives?

the karma box is determined whether or not it will show based on the forum's id code...from the email there is not id code embedded so it thinks it's just a regular forum and thus does not show the karma box. Is it a bug? Yup...I'll check into it and add the id code to the email so it "knows" to show the karma box.
