I have a question about how ones' member status is determined. I am considered a New Friend, how do I become a member? Is it by seniority or by how many posts contributed or ? Just curious. RCU is a great website!

Thanks

Mike

The default member status is determined by the number of posts. I think it changes from New Friend after 50 posts - not sure. You can also go to My RCU, click on Edit Profile and enter something unique in the Custom User Text that will be displayed instead of the default title.

It's based on post-count, and is really just for fun. Now that you've made 20 posts you're a Member. At around 100 posts you'll be a Senior Member, if I recall. You can also change the status yourself by editing your profile through the "My RCU" button near the top of the page.

It's always nice to see another Minnesotan!
