Default pack life?

I have 2 2250 Mah 3S1P Maxxamp Lipos. I have been using them in my MiniFuntana for about 1.5 years (worked well). They were advertised as rated to 25 Amps and I was drawing about 15-18 in the MiniFuntana (CC Pnx-25 set to 9v cutoff). I really can't give a great estimate of cycles but I really don't fly that often (windy as h*ll here in SD) I would guess >50 but <100 cycles.

My problem is that they now peak out at about 17 amps (maybe a second at 19-20). I re-engined my MiniFuntana to outrunner and it wants to draw 19-20 amps but these two won't cut it.

Could I be approaching the end of these two cells lifespan?

Thanks, George

Default RE: pack life?

Hi George, If your packs are a year and a half old they are the old cells..... we don't use those anymore........we have a new manufacturer and much better cells than the old ones.........and your pretty much at the end of their life span. if there fading like you say.

If your looking at new packs........check out the 2100HV 20C packs.....and check out the 3 yr 300 cycle warranty that you can also get with them. Great packs and a great price.
