Default 0610i question

Hey I have been researching chargers for a while now and I think the 0610i net is the one for me. But I need to know if I could use it safely and efficiently from my car battery as I will not have enough money to purchase a power supply at the same time. Also would this power supply be good. http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...oducts_id/5172 I am fairly new to the high end electric rc but I can't run nitro due to my current situation.

A car battery will work on smaller packs but larger packs may stress it. If you can get a good high quality deep cycle marine battery. As for a good power supply anything that will do 30 amps and 400 watts or so will sufice.

Best regards,

Jason

But in the directions it says to have a 10 amp power supply so if I get one that is 15amp will it damage the charger? P.s I can't remember the formula for amps to watts

10 amp minimum. More will not hurt.
