Hey guys,
I picked up a velocity stack for the MVVS 26 motor and went to install it the other day. The washers that fit down in the carb holes to line everything up kept the stack from sitting flush on the carb. Can I remove the washers to use the stack or is the stack fine sitting up off the carb a little? I can take some pictures if I need to.
Thanks.
Kevin

forget the washers, but save them for later.
The carb is centered by bosses on the bolts.
You need to carefully position the velocity stack, so it will not interfere with the choke plate. Best is to close the choke, then open it slightly and finally tighten the nuts when all moves freely.
