I have just had a weird moment my evo52 would not idle down from mid range, needle valve closed, barrel closed then finally it died. This is a brand new engine ran one time... no other problems. what causes this? in the 10 years of R/C I have never had this problem.

The Evolution .52 glow engine is not made by MVVS.
It is made by Sanye in China, I believe.
Only their 25, 35, 45, 58 and 116 cc spark ignition gas engines are made by MVVS.
