Yesterday I tried to start my 26 gas with no result. I cheked if the plug sparks. No spark at all. I suppose that the ignition mdule is the culprit( ignition battery fully charged).I have to admit that ,by mistake, I connected the battery charger direct to the ignition module, on the charger display I read 16 volts( instead 5-5.5). can these misconnection damage the ign. module? if yes how can be fixed? or I need a new one?

I think you have toasted your ignition. It sometimes is possible to repair, but can be quite expensive, especialy if you count all shipping costs. It also takes a long time before you get the ignition back.
