You could easily use standard servos all around though the rudder should have something with a bit more torque...

50oz/in or above would be best.

I used these servos all around: [link=http://www.nitroplanes.com/41ghitoporac.html]Click me![/link]

These have held up great!

I use futaba 3152 servoes two on elv. but I also put CRRC Pro 26 CC gas engine on the plane. This is a great flying plane. the torque on the servoes is 68 oz. at 4.8 volts. Flying weight is 10.5 #.

Heh, those "cheap" 9.00 servos produce 150oz/in at 6v... not too bad!

Yes the price is great but they will not work on my Futaba 7C 2.4. There is a problem with the servo going full 90 degree when you turn on the receiver. It takes millect to bind receiver to transmitter. There is some electrical differences in the way HD servoes are made and Hi Tec, and Futaba. So far I have no problem with HI Tec servoes or any Futaba servoes. Do any of your friends fly Futaba 2.4. If so please ask them to check out your servoes . This will not hurt the servo it just turns 90 degrees and then goes to center.which then it works great, It sure would tear up control surface while it binds to the transmitter though. This could answer all my questions on the servo.

Wow, I've never seen that, but then I don't fly Futaba's...

I'll drag a couple out to the field and have someone check them...

Tried it today with a 72mHz Futaba, and no 90 degree deflection at power up...

I need to try it with a 2.4gHz Futaba.

Is is possible that your 2.4 is momentarily reverting to the fail-safe settings causing the wild servo swings? ( Just a thought... ).

Opjose Well I thought about that but the only failsafe on the 6EX AND 7C is the throtle channel . I have thought of one other thing I'm going to try when I go home. The servo will work on 4.8 and 6 volts and I wonder if the voltage drop while the receiver is binding is causing the servo to receive low voltage on 4.8 volts. I will try it on 6 volts. THANKS DON

Hmmm...

I have a servo tester.

It has adjustable voltage levels.

I just tried switching from 4.8v to 6.0 volts with the servo centered.

There is an ever so slight twitch when I switch the voltage up, but the servos do not turn 90 degrees.
