Default Covering

Where can I order some of the white covering on the Fascination or the low wing trainer? I have a repair to do on the Fascination and I need to mount the main gear block behind the spar on the low wing trainer. Is there a listing for it or is there a close match in another brand?

Thanks for your help.

I normally cut out a small piece of covering and then head down to my LHS to get as close of a match as possible.

Hey Buzzard, you may be in luck. I got for a Brodak Oriental ARF for Christmas and I'm going to build a new vetical and horizontal stab for it. Don't go badmouthing Brodak now. I'm very happy with the quality of the kit pirces and there is absolutely nothing wrong with the kit parts except that the designer did not have a good eye for coordinating shapes and design on the original. I pulled out a three year old roll of Ultracoat and it matches whatever the Chineese used on the Brodak. I think blvdbussard has the right idea but it should be a faily easy match. However, white and black are not colors in the art world (paintbrush type) - they are shades so there is no such thing as pure white of pure black - only shades of each. You still have it pretty easy though.

I am asking because white is not white. It is like Chevy white and Ford white. They may look close until you put them side by side.

I have checked my old ultra coat white, new monocote white, flight coat white, tower coat white. It is about 4 shade and colors of white off. May have to settle for that. Or I can get creative and use a contrasting color and add a design to it.
