Folks before buying from Nitro go thru two or 5 pages of posts and read about the good and BAD before you decide. If you use common sense and add up what you end up having to buy or replace, or you happen to need customer service then please by all means use good judgement.

Might I add. Folks don't listen much to the "nasayers," you know the, ( the ones that like to keep stuff stirred up). There's 3 or 4 of them that like to follow this thread. And more than likely haven't bought from Nitro. For sure Nitro has had problems, & John does a pretty darn good job, If you listen to your own mind, for the price ya get a pretty good product.

I don't know if I could vote for Nitro but I could for John. I think he's really trying.

All I'm saying is to let the real customers sort it out. They don't need babysitters to look out for them !!! I agree with RamJet. Sometimes it looks like Nitro is trying to "self-destruct" & John seems to try & pull them out. If you guys want to bash something, go get a kit !!! Do something positive. When you continually bash someone, it makes you out the "bad guy" . Oh,yea, chuckles, you didn't answer my question; Have you bought from Nitro, honestly? If so, how was your service?

Outdoor yes I have once and only once. I did not know about this site as it was one of the first few planes i had bought. There was no service. I tried the phone lines to no avail i would say about 5 times then i just quit. As some of the others the hardware was well below average and i was fairly new at the time. Could not make out the manuel and alot of it was not shown or explained at all leading to the calls. The Fiberglass Fuse I had on a Super Chipmunk was cracked and in places completly broken. The Rudder and Elev was broken, or one side of elev. The wing again one side was warped. Well as i said i was fairly new maybe two planes pior. I had to have some help (no problem) 20yrs. exp. lives across the street. He looked at it and laughed, wanted to know where i got such a DEAL. I told him and his repy was Oh man why did you not talk to me first I would have told you about Nitro. You need to stay with reputable companies. I told him I had tried to get hold of Nitro and he laughed again. Not much chance of that is there was his reply to that. So to answer your question yes i have went thru the Nitro Blues. The plane from 5ft. was beautiful. If you look at this pic you will see it. Now it is trash as i never would have flown this plane as it was. There were other problems with it also the motor mount was cracked, nuts that hold wing pulled thru trying to get them seated. Just an overall very bad experience and i read about the same things happening to others constantly. Hope this was the answer you wanted.

Editied for only pic I have of that plane. And as you can see i know a little of putting a plane together.
Tell me this Outdoor have you ever seen a Company with the amount of complaints as this one gets. DAILY

If this happened over 2 years ago then why bring it up now? What more can they do for you? How can they make you super happy? I bought one of their louis IV and had missing hardware. I bought the missing stuff since the stuff included was poor quality and went on with life. I also knew that buying a 150.00 arf might have issues to begin with.

What is the real problem here?

Curious,
Kevin

You got that right, Mr.Mugen. My point exactly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get over it. Man up !!!! They sound like a whinney 3 yr old !! As I have stated before, I have 3 of NP products & I agree with chuckles, the instructions suck, the hardware isn't the best. HOWEVER, I'm buying a 100 to 150 buck plane that would sell elsewhere for at least $200 to $250. REMEMBER
,THEY ARE CALLED ARFs

Wow, Over 2 years ago & still trashing the company daily! May I suggest making your life easier & moving on. You are sure not helping anyone or yourself acting in this manner.

From what I'm seeing on the forums most are being helped promptly with there problems. I'm sure if everyone who has had a positive transaction posted on here, We would all be surprized by the number of positive posts.

Okey Dokey. If in your mind this is good for you then by all means go ahead and support them. I never will. I will lay off for awhile or until I read a post of someone getting shafted again. How long do you think that might be lol.

One thing flying should be and is a blast. We all love the sport as you can see from above I like it too. I try to grow the sport, I try to get people involved, I talk bad about NITRO lol., but one thing is would help each and every one of you if i could. And looks like most of you need help rofl. J/K you guys have a great day.

I like the cheap ARF's as will as the next guy. I bought a Nitro ARF. Quality was very poor, I'll get screwed some where else before I buy another Nitro ARF.

This must be the "new phrase". I hear it more than I hear "git r done". I find it funny that so many people pick up stuff like that and ramble it off all the time......is it just me?

No, it's definitly not a new phrase. I think it started with the Max Brothers. I was watching an old movie- I mean really old movie & Grocho Marx said it. I think it's meant to just be a play on words.

Mr. M have to agree with outdoor that is an old saying. Kinda like older than dirt. OR you knew the dead sea when it was just getting sick.

Dead Sea, Huh !! HeHeHe I'm almost that old ( at least I feel like it sometimes!) This gives me an idea! I think I'll start a thread for "old stupid" sayings or plays on words. We'll see what comes up.

Very true and judging by your grammatical ability, you definately received all of the education your parents taxes paid for.
