Default 55AX sensitive needle

I purchased my 55 AX new. I have not crashed, droped or damaged the engine (yet). I have always had a slight difficulty keeping a tune on the engine.

Today I noticed when I was tuning the engine that if i touch the needle valve with a very slight side pressure ( not turning ) it will change the engine tune.
Any ideas>

The needle could have a bad fit in its mounting tube, so that a slight wiggle will change the setting. You can tighten the needle a bit by using some teflon plumber's tape around the threads to eliminate some play.

I was tuning mine at the field the other day and noticed the same thing, I thought it was just me...
