Is or has there been a problem with this carb as for not allowing the carb rotor to close completely?. I can get it to close BUT only with the stop screw at its limit of having the rotor to come out. No crashes or any damage with this engine and I have flown it before but was in the process of setting the servo up on another model when adjusting the stop screw the rotor was out. I have set many different engines stop screw and this one is not right. The engine is not new and has the needle valve in back.

Bob,
Your O.S. Max #60C carb should have no problems allowing you to set the throttle stop screw so that the carb can close enough to shut down the engine. It's possible your stop screw has a broken tip and is jamming in the slot. Take the stop screw out and check the rotor. Also look at the stop screw. It does sound like something's amiss.

Bax, the screw is OK and the slot is fine as the rotor moves freely. I need to catch a club member with a OS 61 to look at his carb. There is something wrong here...........
