I hate computers.

I hate computers.
They are like the really cute girl in high school, the one way out of your league... who finally agrees to go out with you. Then decides she doesn't want a clean install of windows 7 and has HDMI compatibility issues.
This is ridiculous, I picked up a Zotac mag, which is a small form factor PC... according to some reviews, it is completely and utterly awesome. Well, here I am, 4 hours into it and still don't have the damn thing working right. Actually no, it worked for about a minute, until windows update kicked on.
I hate my life.

RE: I hate computers.
Don't worry. That cute girl that is way out of your league doesn't do anything with her life after the quarterback she has been dating turns out wants to spend more time with the team. After finding herself needing a new place to live, she starts making fast money on stage working the Gold Pole. Of course the other "dancers" don't like her prom queen attitude so they get her hooked on methamphetamines because they keep telling her that all the customers think that she is thick... By the 10 year reuinion, she has 3 kids from 3 different guys, a nasty drug habit and still thinks she is better than everybody else. To add insult to injury, the ex-husband quarterback that was her high school sweetheart was announced the 10-year reuinion queen and the linebacker king.
Now as for your computer problems - are you using a full version and not an upgrade?

It's not dead, it just needs the harddrive to be formatted and a clean installation of your operating system installed for it to work again.
If you want to save all the information, then you would want to put the harddrive in an external device and connect it to another computer.

A clean install will fix almost anything. Sure, there are sometimes less time consuming methods of repair, but barring complete hardware failure a clean OS install will always work.
I try to do a clean install every year or so anyway.
I wish other things were like that sometimes. Imagine if you could fix a car almost every time, no matter the problem, simply by reinstalling something... Ah, would be nice, wouldn't it?

ya, computer is fried, happend to mine too, you can still get the memory from the hard drive, im sure you could just remove it, bring it to a repair place, and have it copied to a external drive or something.

Doesn't mean its fried... it could just have a corrupted MBR. If its posting (screen is turning on), than its not fried. Do you see a blinking underscore in the upper left corner of the screen? I would find a windows install disc and try to use that to boot.

RE: I hate computers.
what happened was after all the updated drivers i did on it , it began to not work properly anymore and was shutting off by itself , and the display driver kept crashing , so i did a system restore point on it but it didnt work , then i tired to do another system restore and then the entire system crashed but the screen was still on but was frozen , so i just turned it off completely , and after that all i get now when i turn it on is an on screen thats black grey nothing else .

If the screen in blank and there is power, that is pointing to the video card. Try hooking it up to an external monitor and then booting it up.
You will need to set your BIOS to boot from CD/DVD drive and then put in a Windows bootable disk - preferably a full version, not upgrade.
